Services

  • Coaching

I am an ICF accredited coach and coaching educator with more than a decade of experience coaching individuals and groups. Coaching is a partnership to identify goals, challenges, build strategies, practice new tools, and foster accountability to new habits. My coaching clients range from new leaders who want a co-conspirator to individuals exploring race and gender identity constructs.

  • Consulting

For more than a decade, the majority of my work has been as advisor for organizations seeking to make changes. I provide consultation on developing new visions, short- and long-term goal-setting, and shifting organizational culture (with a focus on making cultures more equitable and positive).

  • Education and Development

I have over twenty years of experience designing and implementing learning for young adults and adults. I started my career as a public high school teacher and I continue to teach college, so I understand how to create engaging, interactive, outcome-driven educational modules. I offer professional learning modules on empathy, culture-building, effective organizational practices, and facilitation of retreats and step-backs to a wide array of organization types to help them function more effectively.

  • Speaking/Writing

I am available to speak and/or write about empathy and how it may apply to your experience or challenge. I have spoken on panels about the role of empathy in disagreements about politics, empathy in the COVID-19 workplace, how empathy functions in effective classrooms, the intersection of empathy and cultural relevance in effective pedagogical practices, examples of empathy in international leadership crisis response, and empathy in interpersonal relationships. I am pretty excited to talk about empathy anywhere and everywhere.

  • Community Engagement

I develop and conduct interviews, panels, and focus groups that enable diverse participants to fully share their experiences and advocate for their vision. I have conducted groups with participants across a broad range of communities, education levels, racial and ethnic identities, and levels of enthusiasm. Through carefully crafted questions and attentive empathy, these conversations unearth complete stories that enable policy advocates, designers, researchers, and a range of clients from across fields to better understand the experiences of those they seek to serve.
